Your homework for this weekend is to memorize your part of the dialogue heard in class between Mademoiselle Marie Simon and Monsieur X. It is called "Voisins" (neighbors) and you can listen to it by clicking on this link. If you cannot access sound on your home computer, bring earphones and use a desktop or laptop in the library before and after class on Tuesday. You will have a chance to practice with a partner in class on Tuesday and be corrected by me. Students will present the dialogue in pairs on Wednesday.
Imitate the voices you hear as closely as you can. Remember to focus on the elements in the rubric handed out in class: pronunciation, enunciation, speed & fluidity, memorization, and emotion of delivery. Don't be afraid to exaggerate them. Amusez-vous bien! (Have fun with it!)
Bon long week-end!
